To ensure the absorber slurry density within design operation scope, the
absorber gypsum slurry keeps discharging to gypsum dewatering system through gypsum
bleed pump.
The gypsum dewatering system is for common use of the Phase II 3#, 4# boiler
FGD device, gypsum dewatering system content is 150% under BMCR operation situation
with coal type “C” and 100% under BMCR operation situation with coal type “E”.
The gypsum dewatering applies secondary system. Gypsum slurry is discharged from
the bleed pump into corresponding gypsum hydrocyclone for dewatering and concentration.
Underflow with solid content of 40%-50% will enter by self weight into vacuum
belt dewatering machine and be dewatered into gypsum byproduct with moisture
content less than 10% and then enters into gypsum storage base by belt conveyor.
Overflow with solid content of about 8.3% will enters into gypsum overflow buffer
tank, part of which will be conveyed into wastewater hydrocyclone while most of
which will enters into filtrate tank.
The wastewater underflow will enter into filtrate tank while overflow will
enter into wastewater tank as FGD waste. Through the 2 waster water pump (one
for use and one for standby), the wastewater will be conveyed into waste water
system for handling.
A gypsum hydrocyclone contains 4 gypsum cyclone separators (3 for running and
1 for standby), the gypsum slurry enters into hydrocyclone distributor and is
distributed to single cyclone separators, which will separate the solid and liquid
in it with centrifugal effect.
Each absorber has 1 corresponding gypsum hydrocyclone. Underflow of the 2 gypsum
hydrocyclone will join and be distributed to vacuum belt dewatering machine;
overflow will join and enters into gypsum overflow buffer tank.
2 vacuum belt dewatering machine are set for each absorber of the 2 boilers.
The output of each vacuum belt dewatering machine is 100% of the gypsum total
production under BMCR operation situation with 1 boiler burning check coal. Each
vacuum belt dewatering machine is set with 1 vacuum pump, 1 filter cloth wash tank
and 2 (1 for use and 1 for standby) filter cloth wash pump.
One wastewater hydrocyclone is set.
Gypsum filter cake produced by 2 vacuum belt dewatering machines can fall into
gypsum storage room with self-weight.
