The installation of the Electrostatic Precipitators(ESP) is to minimize the particulate emission prior to leaving the stack to the level acceptable to the Local Authority Regulation on Environmental Impact Analysis(AMDAL) and scope of work includes :
Design, engineering, manufacture & supply, insurance, handlilng safe storage, execution of erection / installaion and commissioning of mechanical and structural work including necessary platform and ladders etc and necessary tests as applicable.
The performance of a ESP depends, to a great extent, on the proper erection of various components in strict accordance with the instructions stipulated here. A deviation at one place may adversely affect on the collection efficiency of a completed field. It is, therefore, imperative that every care be exercised at various stages of inspection, erection and final check ups.
The erection procedure mentioned here is only a guideline and may get changed depending on a particular site, set up or application. If in doubt please ask. Do not take decision yourself without asking Feida's representative at site.
BASIC WORKING PRINCIPLE OF ESP
(1) Set up electric field, occur corona and make dust charging;
(2) Under action of field, charged particles move to electrodes and deposit on them;
(3) Clean the electrodes by rapping.
